Walking is great exercise. It is not only good for your overall physical health, it is great for your feet and a good time for reflection. But sometimes finding a place to walk is difficult, especially when concerned about lack of trails/paths and sidewalks, traffic, or the distance of a good walking area from where you live. Try these tips:
-High School and other tracks are great places to walk
-Paths in parks are also great for uninterrupted walks. Try Riverside, Emory Adams, or Riverbend parks in Findlay. You can also visit the Hancock County Park District Website via our City of Findlay Links on our blog "Findlay Foot Facts" at http://findlayfootfacts.blogspot.com for a further listing of local parks.
-Walk at the mall! The mall offers plenty of open, flat space, and you can window shop as you exercise. The Findlay Village Mall is located on Tiffin Ave.
-Golf Courses and other playing fields (soccer or baseball for example) often have space around their periphery where you can walk.
-You can also walk in any nearby, open area that you may find.
